Senior pole vaulter Christen Saccuccci of the Case Western Reserve University women's track and field team has been named the University Athletic Association Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday evening.

The Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field teams are prepared to travel cross-town to Alliance, Ohio for the 2016 Jim Wuske Invitational on Saturday, February 6 hosted by the University of Mount Union in the Peterson Fieldhouse.

The Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field teams combined for a total of 146 team points to win the Ninth Annual Battle for the Obelisk against University Athletic Association rival Carnegie Mellon University.

Both the men's and women's track and field teams from Case Western Reserve University finished in first place at the Defiance College Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track & field teams will host rival Carnegie Mellon University (Pa.) in the Ninth Annual Battle for the Obelisk this Saturday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Veale Center.

Due to continued improvements to the indoor track facility at the Veale Fieldhouse, the Case Western Reserve University track and field team has cancelled its intrasquad throwback meet, originally scheduled for Friday, January 15th.

The scheduled reopening of the Veale Fieldhouse has been pushed back until Friday, January 15th as the finishing touches are put on the renovations to the track and courts in the facility.
